RV4/6EL
RV4/6EL is an improved version of the RV4EL distributor, and previously - the RV4M distributor. All of them are of the active type, i.e. they use signal amplification and separation, as well as improvement of its quality.
RV4/6EL splitter - compared to its predecessor, it has the following features (features marked with '*' are options, available on order):
- detachable cable connections are used, which makes possible service and installation easier
- the distribution of signals on the connectors has been tidied up - in the RV4/6EL type, on one side of the housing there is a pass-through connector for the main signal bus "BUS-CONN". The power connector for cameras and monitors is separated and is located on the other side of the housing
- screw connectors were used and the signal system was arranged in such a way that each UTP cable is easily connected to subsequent terminals in a standard (repeatable) arrangement.
- an automatic fuse for the LA device line is used - in the RV4/6EL type, the device line signal on the bus is separated from the devices connected to the distributor. A possible line short circuit in one of the devices connected through the "APP-CONN" connector - now does not affect the operation of the entire system, because the effects of the short circuit are limited only to locally powered devices. The short-circuit condition of the local LZ section is indicated by a red LED, which facilitates service.
- *The RV4/6EL distributor may be available in a version supporting 6 outputs
- * it is possible to connect a local power supply that powers this splitter and the monitors connected to it, as well as a further section of the bus
- * it is possible to expand the number of splitter outputs to 18 by connecting in parallel the RV12EL expansion module, which has 12 monitor outputs. The connection is made by a tape with connectors, connected at the top of the module to the basic module. Option for systems with a star-shaped installation system, where all manifolds are located in one room. Requires special version RV4/6EL
- * the possibility of managing the splitter through a line of devices has been introduced - after installing a special additional module.
